BIO* 122 General Biology II Credits: 4
This course will focus on the anatomy, physiology, and classification of organisms in the six kingdoms. Topics will include taxonomy, diversity, and evolution of life; anatomy and physiology of living organisms; and ecology. Laboratory will focus on the structure, function, and anatomy of selected plants and animals. Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory are required per week. Prerequisite: Basic Skills Assessment placement at ENG* 101 and MAT* 137 or above. Recommended: ENG* 101 and MAT* 137 (may be taken concurrently) TAP Competency: Scientific Reasoning
