HUM* 101 Introduction to Humanities Credits: 3
A multi-disciplinary introduction to a global perspective on the arts and humanities concentrating on the individual expressions of painting, sculpture, poetry, literature, philosophy, music, dance, and drama. Students will study the methods and goals of these areas of human creativity and familiarize themselves with the traditional models. Prerequisite: Placement in ENG* 101 or completion of appropriate developmental English courses TAP Competency: Appreciation of the Aesthetic Dimensions of Humankind
