This course provides a basic understanding of personal finance in a non-technical presentation. The choices that consumers face in managing their finances are examined. The topics include the basics of personal income and budgeting, consumer credit, investing, taxes, housing, insurance, retirement, and estate planning. Prerequisite: Placement in ENG* 101 and MAT* 137
