ENG* 101 Composition Credits: 3
Composition focuses on the study and practice of effective written communication across a variety of rhetorical situations. The course develops skills in applying language conventions, engaging with and using authoritative sources, and crafting logical arguments. Prerequisite: ENG* 093 with a grade of C or better, ENG* 064, ENG* 066, or ENG* 096 with a grade of B+ or better, or placement in ENG* 101 on Basic Skills Assessment Embedded Competency: Ethical Dimensions of Humankind; Continuing Learning & Information Literacy TAP Competency: Written Communication in English
