ESL* 038 Pronunciation and Oral Practice III Credits: 3
This course is designed to help low-intermediate non-native English-speaking students develop and improve their pronunciation skills through guided communicative listening and speaking activities, using a variety of media. Students practice the sound system of the English language at the phoneme, word, and discourse levels. Understanding of the rhythm, stress, and intonation at the word and sentence levels is emphasized. Prerequisite: ESL* 028 or placement at the ESL* 038 level
