ESL* 022 Reading/Writing II Credits: 6
This course is designed to help high-beginning non-native English-speaking students develop and improve their reading and writing skills. Students practice reading and writing through cross-cultural communicative activities which make effective use of grammar and vocabulary in the formation of sentences, paragraphs, and essays. Students develop organizational skills in the writing of compositions. The course emphasizes the development of reading and writing skills needed for academic environments. Prerequisite: Placement at the ESL* 022 level
