This course examines the role of the individual in the U.S. economy. Topics to be covered include scarcity and choice, supply and demand, cost vs. benefit, price theory, resource allocation, and pricing and output determination under competitive and non-competitive market behavior. Prerequisite: MAT* 095 or placement at college level math on Basic Skills Assessment
